IVFtech Carbon pre-filters are used for purifying the air for VOC in the lab.

Activated carbon works via a process called adsorption, whereby pollutant molecules in the fluid to be treated are trapped inside the pore structure of the carbon substrate.

It is recommended that these are changed every 3-6 months depending on the application.

The Carbon pre-filter when fitted into a cabinet will go in an alarm to indicate when it is time.

IVFtech HEPA High efficiency particulate air filters are supplied in all cabinets and isolators.  These are used to filter the particles in the laboratory and the service team will advise the user when these are due for replacement. 

These filters are made to the requirement to remove 99.97% of particles that have a size greater-than-or-equal-to 0.3 microns.   

Due to the nature of the material in the dirty filters it is recommended that the procedure is only conducted by qualified technicians authorised by IVFtech.
