Description

This controlled-rate freezer is engineered for the cryopreservation of samples stored in bags, vials, and straws, providing precise thermal control for a wide range of laboratory applications.

The system features straightforward two-button operation combined with PC-based software control, allowing users to manage multiple password-protected freezing protocols with ease. A forced laminar airflow cooling design promotes rapid, uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber, supporting consistent freezing performance across all sample types. Both top-opening and front-opening configurations are available to simplify loading and workflow integration, while heated door seals help prevent freezing and sticking at ultra-low temperatures.

Using the DeltaT software platform, laboratories can create and store validated protocols, monitor runs in real time, and securely capture process data for traceability and compliance purposes. The software also supports batch freezing workflows, enabling samples across multiple freezers to be monitored simultaneously with all freezing profiles displayed together for streamlined review and validation.

Protocol stages can be configured to transition according to sample temperature, chamber temperature, or elapsed time, providing the flexibility needed for complex cryopreservation procedures. The removable inner chamber supports easier cleaning and sterilisation, while integrated communication ports allow direct PC connectivity for data management and control.

The system also offers rapid cooling performance and is available in both standard and Medical Device configurations.
